Silent Orchestra
Silent Orchestra was formed in 1998 to bring silent films to a new audience. We are known for new scores for NOSFERATU (1922), SALOME (1923), and METROPOLIS (1927). We blend elements of ambient, minimalist, chamber, rock, jazz, and aleatoric music with homage to music of the silent era. We have scored 14 classic silent films.
